About

Who are the Marines that are members of the Marine Corps League and just what is it that they do? That is a good question but the answer, however, may not be as easy as you might think. Please read on.

Who are the members of the Marine Corps League?

There are two types of memberships in the League, regular and associate. Regular members are Marines who have served at least 90 days on active duty and have an honorable discharge (more on that later) or they are sailors who are authorized to wear the FMF Corpsman device for having been attached to and served with Marines. Associate members are others who do not fit the requirements for membership as regular members. With limited differences (they can not hold one of the four elected leadership chairs or vote on financial matters) the rights they have as members are substantially the same as regular members.
